Intern Individual Footwear Project for Nike Basketball

Explores traction innovation for basketball by creating an outsole designed to be “just right”—not too sticky, not too slippery. Drawing on athlete feedback and movement analysis, the design introduces a radial pivot system that balances grip for explosive cuts with controlled release for smooth pivots. The project aims to rethink how footwear can enable performance by engineering a traction pattern tuned to the fluid dynamics of the game.

Senior Footwear Capstone Project

Designed to capture the feeling of being fully in rhythm on the court—the state where every move feels effortless. The shoe channels that idea of flow through a continuous outsole pattern that encourages smooth transitions, and an upper built with subtle shifts in material to balance lockdown and freedom. Every detail was considered to keep the athlete moving without interruption, turning the abstract idea of “flow state” into a tangible product experience.
Aaram Flats
Parametric Modeling Project

Aaram, meaning ease, is a reinterpretation of the classic Indian jutti that blends cultural heritage with parametric modeling, bringing digital craft and personalized comfort together. Each pair includes a custom insole generated from the wearer’s unique pressure-mapping data, delivering individualized support without compromising elegance. The lattice-inspired upper references traditional weaving while offering breathability and a contemporary silhouette.
Mor Cleat
Intern Project for Adidas US Sports - Football

Designed for the next generation of athletes, this project explored how performance footwear can better serve women in sport. Built on a female-specific last and informed by athlete feedback, the cleat focused on fit, traction, and movement patterns unique to the women’s game. Key features included rotational stud geometry for agility and a heel-lock system for stability, balancing technical precision with expressive design to show how inclusivity can drive innovation.
